Glasstrends wins Savoy Hotel contract

London-based Glasstrends Limited, the independent frameless glass shower manufacturer, has recently won a contract to supply The Savoy Hotel in London.

The contract, to manufacture and install seventy-seven frameless glass shower enclosures to the prestigious Grade II listed hotel, is part of an extensive bathroom renovation project being managed by contractor R J Holland.  Famous for their giant showerheads, the well-appointed Savoy marble bathrooms are also to be finished with large chrome fittings.  The work is being undertaken as part of a £220 million restoration project to bring the hotel back to its former glory.

Glasstrends Managing Director, Andrew Long commented: We are delighted to have been involved with the refurbishment of this historically significant London hotel.  Our products offer the highest quality, modern facilities for guests. All of the shower enclosures installed are manufactured from 10mm standard clear toughened safety glass.  The doors have been wall-hung with side panels and an overhead glass brace for additional support.  The finished product is both stylish and functional.’

Glasstrends designs, manufactures and installs bespoke frameless glass shower enclosures, bath screens, sauna, steam room and WC doors.  All products are custom-built and designed to fit any available space.
